her hair falls upon her shoulders
the breeze is getting colder
as she sat there her hands shook
clutching to that photo book
she used to be a tiny dancer
all the boys tried to romance her
now it all seems to come apart
as she sows the seeds of a broken heart
the sadness has made her frail
she plays with her skirt while I bite my nails
she looks up with those stone blue eyes
they’re tearing up but, she wont cry
The roses cant see her like this
the daffodils and the orchids
just the other day another one died
wilted up no matter how hard she tried
her hair falls upon her shoulders
there’s nothing we can do to console her
as she sat there her whole body shook
on her face was the most painful look
shes still a tiny dancer
to her questions, there’s no answer
she was always pure at heart
but it all got torn apart
the sadness has made her frail
she plays with her skirt while I bite my nails
she looks up with those stone blue eyes
they’re tearing up but, she wont cry
The roses cant see us like this
the daffodils and the orchids
just the other day another one died
wilted up, said goodbye
go see the girl in the flower shop
