Doomscroll

I made another browser game. This one is about scrolling.

You get fifteen seconds. The feed is infinite. Interacting with posts buys time — double-tap your friend’s absurdly small tomato, swipe on a dating profile, and the clock goes up. But the feed is also full of things engineered to grab you: rage bait, engagement bait, a mattress ad that knows how long you’ve owned your mattress. Engage with those and the clock goes down, hard. The correct move is to scroll past, and the game pays you more for restraint than it ever pays you for engagement.

That’s the whole skill. Not reflexes — reading. You get about a second per post to decide whether it’s a real person’s soup or a trap wearing a real person’s soup as a costume, and the feed gets less honest the longer you survive.

There is no winning. The drain only accelerates, so the feed always gets you eventually, and your score is the one number no app has ever shown you proudly: time wasted. The game-over screen is a Screen Time report. It is not celebrating.

Play it on your phone — the controls are already in your muscle memory, which is sort of the point.

Every account, face, and suspiciously tiny tomato in the feed is fictional; the photos are AI-generated.

Like Thought Leader, this one lives at /games with the rest of the collection.
